Contrary to what Jim Gaffigan's "nobody wants handmade gifts" line in the new eBay commercials, many folks love the gorgeous creations from Knots of Love.
Avid crocheter Christine Fabiani Shively started the non-profit after a cancer survivor friend commented that she would have loved a cozy cap during her chemo treatments.
A plan was hatched and Knots of Love now coordinates the creation and distribution of caps for 234 hospitals and medical centers in 50 states, Canada, and Mexico.
